Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tile Setter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing various types of tiles, including ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for ensuring that all tile installations are completed to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Measure and cut tiles to fit specific areas and designs accurately. Prepare surfaces for tile installation by cleaning, leveling, and applying adhesives as needed. Install tiles in accordance with design specifications, ensuring proper alignment and spacing. Grout and seal tiles to protect against moisture and enhance durability. Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Tile Setter or similar role in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of tile materials, installation techniques, and safety practices. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings effectively. Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills. Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods. Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. A valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory.
