Job Description

The TIG Welder is responsible for performing precision welding tasks using Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) techniques to assemble, fabricate, and repair metal components and products according to technical drawings and specifications. This role requires attention to detail, steady hands, and a commitment to producing high-quality welds that meet company and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols. Set up welding equipment and select appropriate materials and filler metals. Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals as required. Inspect and test welds to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. Maintain welding tools and equipment in optimal working condition. Follow company safety procedures and wear proper PPE at all times. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Document work performed and report any defects or inconsistencies.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience as a TIG welder (typically 2+ years preferred). Certification in welding (TIG or related processes) preferred. Strong knowledge of metallurgy, welding symbols, and fabrication methods. Ability to operate power tools, grinders, and measuring instruments. Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Commitment to workplace safety and quality assurance.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, bend, and lift materials for extended periods. Comfortable working in high-temperature or confined environments.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
