Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our fabrication team. The TIG Welder will be responsible for producing high-quality welds on stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals by using Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding techniques. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, understands blueprints, and follows safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work orders Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, and fitting components Set up welding equipment according to specifications Inspect completed welds for accuracy, strength, and quality Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals Repair or modify existing welds as needed

Qualifications

Proven experience as a TIG Welder Ability to weld thin materials with precision Knowledge of metallurgy and welding techniques Ability to read and understand technical drawings Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity Basic math and measuring skills

Preferred Skills & Certifications

AWS TIG welding certification (preferred) Experience welding stainless steel and aluminum Fabrication or manufacturing background Experience with quality control or inspection processes

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for long periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Good hand-eye coordination and vision

Work Environment
