Job Description

1. Read and interpret blueprints, welding process specifications, and assembly drawings

2. Set up welding machines and equipment for aluminum TIG and MIG welding.

3. Perform precise welding of aluminum sheet and structural materials as per design

4. Inspect welds for accuracy and adherence to specifications.

5. Ensure distortion control and proper fixturing of lightweight aluminum assemblies.

6. Conduct post-weld cleaning using brushes, files or chemical agents.

7. Maintain welding tools, jigs, and fixtures in working condition.

8. Perform tack welding and final welding of components in correct sequence.

9. Collaborate with design and quality teams for first-article and batch inspections.

10. Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

11. Record and report welding times and materials used for traceability.

12. Apply knowledge of metal properties and mathematics to layout work.

13. Execute welding with proper shielding gas settings and filler materials.

14. Prevent warping and burns during thin-sheet welding processes.

15. Ensure traceability by marking and documenting welds and joints.

16. Participate in root cause analysis in case of weld failures.

17. Work within defined tolerances and ensure aesthetic quality.

18. Follow all workplace safety policies and PPE requirements.

19. Suggest process improvements in aluminum welding techniques.

20. Support trials and development of new fixtures or jigs for cabinet/frame builds.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
