The Ticketing Executive is responsible for managing ticket reservations, bookings, cancellations, and customer support for clients. This role involves working with reservation systems, liaising with vendors (e.g., airlines, event organizers), and ensuring a smooth and efficient ticketing process.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle bookings, ticket issuance, reissuance, revalidation, and cancellations or proprietary software.
Provide fare quotes and accurate information on routes, schedules, and seat availability.
Ensure timely communication with customers regarding ticket confirmations, itinerary changes, and other related information.
Manage group bookings and coordinate with suppliers and airlines for special requests.
Process refunds as per company and airline policies.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ticketing rules, fare conditions, and industry updates.
Handle complaints or inquiries related to ticketing and provide prompt resolutions.
Coordinate with finance for invoice and payment processing.
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with legal and company procedures.
Prepare regular reports on sales, cancellations, and other key ticketing metrics.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (preferably in Travel & Tourism, Business, or Hospitality).
Experience:
1-2 years of experience in a ticketing or reservations role.
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Soft Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Customer-focused with a problem-solving attitude.
