Assisting customers with travel requirements, baggage info, seat selection, and special requests.
Offering professional travel guidance and support throughout the booking process.
Coordinating with airlines, vendors, and internal teams for smooth operations.
GDS & Airline System Operations
Working on Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, or any other booking platform.
Maintaining accurate booking records and updating client databases.
Checking airline policies, fare rules, cancellations, and penalty structures.
Documentation & Compliance
Ensuring all bookings follow airline guidelines and company policies.
Maintaining reports of daily bookings, cancellations, and refunds.
Verifying customer documents when required (passport, visa, ID proof).
Sales & Upselling
Suggesting travel insurance, add-ons, meal plans, extra baggage, etc.
Sharing promotional offers, seasonal fares, and group travel deals.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum
1-3 years of experience
in ticketing (domestic/international).
Strong knowledge of GDS platforms (Amadeus/Galileo/Sabre).
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to handle pressure and manage last-minute changes.
Good understanding of airline fare rules, routes, and travel regulations.
Attention to detail and strong coordination skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word).
