The Ticketing Executive is responsible for handling domestic and international air ticket bookings for corporate and MICE clients. The role involves managing reservations, fare calculations, reissuance, cancellations, and coordination with airlines while ensuring accuracy, cost efficiency, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle end-to-end ticketing for corporate and MICE groups -- domestic and international.
Issue, reissue, and cancel flight tickets through GDS (Amadeus / Galileo / Sabre).
Prepare fare quotes, compare options, and suggest best routing and cost-effective solutions.
Coordinate with airlines, hotels, and internal departments for booking confirmations.
Process visa, insurance, and ancillary travel requirements as needed.
Maintain accurate records of all transactions, invoices, and client communications.
Ensure compliance with company travel policies and vendor agreements.
Support group movements, incentive trips, and conference-related travel logistics.
Handle last-minute changes, reschedules, and urgent travel requests efficiently.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of domestic & international air ticketing.
Proficiency in GDS systems (Amadeus / Galileo / Sabre).
Good understanding of fare rules, refund policies, and airline regulations.
Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure.
Familiarity with visa, insurance, and travel documentation processes.
Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Travel & Tourism / Hospitality.
2-4 years of experience
in ticketing (corporate / MICE preferred).
Certification or training in GDS / IATA preferred.
