The Ticketing Executive will be responsible for handling airline reservations, issuing tickets, re-issuance, cancellations, refunds, and amendments using Global Distribution Systems (GDS). The role ensures accurate and timely ticketing services while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Air Ticketing & Reservations
Make reservations and issue domestic & international air tickets using GDS (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, etc.).
Handle ticket reissuance, cancellations, refunds, and date changes.
Ensure accuracy in fare calculations, currency conversions, and ticketing rules.
Provide the best routing options and lowest available fares to customers.
Customer Support
Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins.
Advise customers on flight schedules, visa requirements, baggage policies, and travel insurance.
Handle urgent ticketing requests and resolve customer issues efficiently.
Coordination & Documentation
Coordinate with airlines and consolidators for group bookings, special requests, and fare negotiations.
Maintain updated records of reservations, cancellations, and refunds.
Ensure compliance with company policies and IATA regulations.
Sales & Upselling
Promote add-on services such as travel insurance, hotel bookings, and tour packages.
Support sales teams in achieving revenue targets through effective ticketing support.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Proficiency in GDS systems (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre).
Strong knowledge of domestic and international ticketing procedures.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in fare/ticket processing.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate/Diploma in Travel & Tourism or related field.
2-4 years of experience in airline ticketing operations.
Knowledge of IATA guidelines and airline fare rules preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
