Responsible for creating and executing authentic Thai and Japanese dishes, ensuring top-quality flavors, presentation, and guest satisfaction while maintaining kitchen efficiency and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and innovate menus for Thai and Japanese cuisine.
Specialize in sushi, sashimi, tempura, ramen, curries, stir-fry, and traditional Thai dishes.
Train and guide junior chefs on Thai and Japanese culinary techniques.
Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation standards.
Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen safety standards.
Manage food cost, inventory, and minimize wastage.
Collaborate with F&B team for menu promotions and seasonal offerings.
Keep up with culinary trends in Thai and Japanese cuisine.
Requirements:
Culinary degree/diploma or equivalent.
4-6 years' proven experience in Thai & Japanese cuisine (luxury hotels/restaurants preferred).
Strong skills in sushi making, Thai curries, and authentic regional techniques.
Leadership and team-handling skills.
Creativity with attention to detail and guest satisfaction.
