Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc / B.E. / BA) with Mathematics as a core subject.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) - Mandatory.
Eligibility as per CBSE norms for TGT/PGT Teachers.
Proficiency in using teaching aids and basic computer skills for lesson planning, assessments, and academic reporting.
Tasks & Activities:
Plan and deliver Mathematics lessons as per the CBSE curriculum and academic plan.
Develop conceptual understanding in arithmetic, algebra, geometry, statistics, and related areas.
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments aligned with learning outcomes.
Use activity-based, problem-solving, and real-life application methods to teach concepts.
Conduct regular assessments, evaluate answer scripts, and maintain academic records.
Prepare students for internal assessments, examinations, and board-aligned evaluations.
Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support and enrichment activities.
Encourage logical thinking, accuracy, and systematic problem-solving approaches.
Integrate technology, teaching aids, and math tools to enhance learning.
Maintain discipline and a focused learning environment in the classroom.
Conduct and supervise laboratory activities ensuring safety protocols.
Evaluate student performance and maintain academic and lab records.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure interdisciplinary learning and academic consistency.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and academic concerns.
Participate in academic planning, meetings, and professional development programs.
Uphold school policies, CBSE norms, and ethical teaching standards.
