DAV Chennai is looking for TGT2-Chemistry to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey The Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) in Chemistry is responsible for delivering high-quality education in the subject of Chemistry to students at the secondary level This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, conducting practical experiments, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive learning environment Responsibilities: Curriculum Development:Develop and implement a comprehensive Chemistry curriculum in accordance with educational standards Create lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of secondary-level students Classroom Instruction:Deliver effective and engaging Chemistry lessons that stimulate students\' interest and curiosity Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles Practical Experiments:Plan and conduct hands-on Chemistry experiments to illustrate theoretical concepts Ensure a safe and controlled laboratory environment during experiments Assessment and Evaluation:Develop and administer assessments to gauge students\' understanding of Chemistry concepts Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate assessment results to parents or guardians Classroom Management:Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning Establish and enforce classroom rules and procedures Student Support:Provide guidance and support to students in their academic and personal development Identify and address individual learning needs through differentiated instruction Extracurricular Activities:Participate in or organize Chemistry-related extracurricular activities, such as science clubs or competitions Encourage students to explore the subject beyond the standard curriculum Parent Communication:Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding students\' progress and academic achievements Attend parent-teacher conferences and address parental concerns or inquiries Professional Development:Stay updated on advancements in Chemistry education and teaching methodologies Attend workshops and training sessions to enhance teaching skills
