, functioning under the aegis of Tamil Nadu Arya Samaj Educational Society was established in

1970

at Gopalapuram in Chennai with just 50 students. The Group today, caters to over

40,000 students

across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. It has a staff of 1500 plus which includes 1,200 teachers. Four of our branches have been consistently ranked amongst top 15 schools in the country.

In addition to K-12 schooling, DAV has recently ventured into

Higher Education

with DAV-SMK Fomra College of Arts & Science at Kelambakkam, Chennai.

In this context, we would be interested in recruiting suitable candidates for the position of

TGT1 - English

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) to join our team in the English department. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching English language and literature to students in middle or secondary school and committed to fostering a stimulating and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in English Literature, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification Previous experience teaching English language and literature at the middle or secondary school level is desirable Strong knowledge of English language and literature curriculum standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Enthusiasm for teaching and a passion for inspiring student learning Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development
Salary shall commensurate with experience, as applicable.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?32,000.00 - ?38,000.00 per month
