We are seeking a passionate and dedicated

TGT Social Studies Teacher

to join our esteemed institution in

Nanded, Maharashtra

. The ideal candidate should be able to deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in Social Studies for middle and high school students, aligning with the curriculum and promoting critical thinking and a love for the subject.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Social Studies lessons (History, Civics, Geography, Economics) for classes 6 to 10. Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and curiosity. Assess and evaluate student progress through tests, assignments, and projects. Maintain accurate records of students' academic performance and development. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school activities. Maintain discipline and manage classroom behavior in line with school policies. Organize field trips, debates, and other activities to enrich the learning experience. Communicate regularly with parents/guardians on students' academic and behavioral progress. Participate in training, workshops, and staff meetings.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline + B.Ed (mandatory). 1-2 years of teaching experience in a similar role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good command over English and regional language (Marathi/Hindi preferred). Familiarity with modern teaching aids and digital tools. Passionate about teaching and child development.
