Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver lessons in History, Geography, Civics, and Economics Align instruction with state/CBSE curriculum standards Develop assessments such as quizzes, assignments, and projects, and provide timely feedback Promote critical thinking through class discussions and interactive activities (debates, role-plays, map work) Integrate real-world examples, current affairs, and digital tools such as smartboards and presentations Maintain discipline, attendance logs, and student portfolios Participate in parent-teacher meetings and collaborate with other teaching staff on events
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in any two of the following: History, Geography, Economics, Political Science (one must be History or Geography) Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) with Social Studies as a methodology Passed Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) Paper II or equivalent certification for State government teaching roles 2-4 years of teaching experience in Social Studies at CBSE or State schools
