Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Science / History / Geography / Political Science / Humanities from a recognized institution B.Ed. is mandatory Strong command of the English language (spoken and written) Prior teaching experience in a CBSE/ICSE school preferred Proficiency in classroom management, lesson planning, and activity-based teaching

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Social Science subjects (History, Civics, Geography, etc.) to middle school grades as per the prescribed curriculum Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and engaging classroom activities Conduct assessments, class tests, and maintain academic records Provide academic support, guidance, and constructive feedback to students Maintain classroom discipline and ensure an interactive learning environment Integrate maps, projects, and activity-based methods for better understanding Coordinate with other teachers for integrated learning and school programmes Participate in assemblies, school events, PTMs, and academic workshops Ensure timely submission of reports, student grades, and documentation

Skills Required:

Strong subject knowledge of Social Science Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to handle diverse learning needs Patience, creativity, and passion for teaching Classroom management and student engagement skills
