Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Social Science subjects Middle school as per CBSE curriculum. Prepare and deliver engaging lessons with activities, maps, projects, and presentations. Create lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and periodic assessments. Conduct classroom discussions to develop analytical and critical thinking skills. Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a positive learning environment. Evaluate student performance and maintain academic records. Use smartboards, digital tools, and audio-visual content to enhance learning. Guide students in project work, map work, and Social Science exhibitions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in History/Geography/Political Science or related field. B.Ed mandatory as per CBSE guidelines. 1-3 years of teaching experience in middle school preferred.

Skills:

Strong subject knowledge across History, Civics, and Geography. Effective communication and classroom management skills. Ability to simplify concepts and engage students in interactive sessions. Proficiency in using smart classrooms and digital teaching tools. Good lesson planning and assessment abilities.

Additional Responsibilities:

Conduct remedial and enrichment classes as needed. Prepare question papers, correction work, and academic documentation. Coordinate Social Science-related activities, competitions, and exhibitions. Participate in PTMs, staff meetings, workshops, and school events. Support academic planning and curriculum development.
