PGT Social Science Teacher

to teach

Classes IX to XII

. The candidate should have strong subject knowledge in History/Political Science/Geography/Economics (as applicable), effective teaching skills, and the ability to prepare students for CBSE curriculum expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Teach Social Science subjects (History/Political Science/Geography/Economics) at senior secondary level as per CBSE syllabus Prepare structured lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment tools Conduct classroom discussions, presentations, and interactive learning activities Evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and examinations Guide students in developing analytical, research, and critical thinking skills Prepare students for CBSE board examinations Maintain academic records, student progress reports, and documentation Use digital tools and modern teaching methodologies where required Participate in academic meetings, school programs, and professional development sessions Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment

Required Qualifications

Master's degree in Social Science subject (History/Political Science/Geography/Economics) from a recognized university B.Ed. (mandatory)

Experience

Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at senior secondary level preferred
