Job Summary:

We seek an enthusiastic Social Science TGT Teacher to deliver CBSE curriculum in history, geography, civics, and economics for Grades 6-10. The role emphasizes interactive teaching, critical thinking, and linking lessons to real-life Indian and global contexts.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute lesson plans aligned with CBSE syllabus, using maps, timelines, projects, and digital resources. Conduct regular assessments, maintain student records, and provide personalized feedback for improvement. Foster inclusive classrooms with emphasis on discipline, values education, and student participation (e.g., quizzes, debates, field trips). Collaborate with colleagues for interdisciplinary activities, parent meetings, and school events like annual day or cultural programs. Stay updated on CBSE guidelines, attend professional development sessions, and contribute to curriculum planning.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, or related field; B.Ed. compulsory. CTET/TET qualified; minimum 2 years of teaching experience in CBSE schools preferred. Proficiency in English and Hindi; strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills. Comfort with digital tools (e.g., MS Office, Google Classroom, interactive whiteboards). Commitment to child safety protocols and Gurukul's ethos of moral and academic excellence.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in experiential learning methods like group discussions or historical reenactments. Ability to integrate current affairs and environmental education. Organizational skills for event coordination and student discipline management.
