Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Teaching:

- Deliver engaging and informative lessons in Social Science for Classes 6 to 10.

- Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, discussions, group activities, and multimedia resources.

2. Curriculum Development:

- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the CBSE curriculum.

- Create and update instructional materials, such as worksheets, presentations, and study guides.

3. Assessment:

- Design and conduct periodic assessments, quizzes, and examinations to evaluate student understanding.

- Provide constructive feedback to students regarding their performance and areas for improvement.

4. Classroom Management:

- Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment conducive to effective learning.

- Foster a culture of respect, cooperation, and active participation among students.

5. Student Support:

- Provide additional support and tutoring to students who need help with concepts.

- Encourage participation in extracurricular activities related to Social Science, such as debates, quizzes, and projects.

6. Integration of Current Affairs:

- Incorporate current events and real-world examples into lessons to make learning relevant and engaging.

- Encourage critical thinking and discussion about social issues and their implications.

7. Collaboration:

- Work with other teachers to integrate Social Science with other subjects in interdisciplinary projects.

- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school initiatives and events.

8. Professional Development:

- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in Social Science education.

- Attend workshops, seminars, and training sessions for continuous professional growth.

# Qualifications:

- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Social Science or a related field, along with a Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed).

- Experience: Previous teaching experience in a CBSE school is preferred.

- Skills:

- Strong knowledge of Social Science concepts and effective teaching strategies.

- Proficiency in using technology and educational tools to enhance learning.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
