Essential Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Social Science/History/Geography/Economics.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent.
CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) or State TET clearance.
Proficiency in the language of instruction (usually English).
Core Skills
Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
Adaptability to different learning styles.
Digital literacy with teaching tools.
Passion for Social Sciences and teaching.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Planning:
Deliver lessons in History, Geography, Civics/Political Science, Economics; create engaging lesson plans, materials, and activities.Classroom Management:
Maintain a disciplined, inclusive, and student-friendly atmosphere using modern teaching tools (AV, ICT).Assessment & Feedback:
Conduct tests, assignments, projects; provide constructive feedback; maintain records and reports.Curriculum Adherence:
Follow school/board (e.g., CBSE) curriculum, update teaching practices, and prepare students for board exams (Class 10).Student Development:
Encourage critical thinking, debate, map work, and remedial support for slow learners.Collaboration:
Communicate with parents, participate in meetings, and engage in professional development.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
