General Description of Profile-

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with

CBSE/NCERT syllabus

Teach integrated science concepts (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Environmental Studies) for 6th-8th class students. Prepare yearly lesson plans, unit plans, worksheets, and assessments as per CBSE norms Conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations following safety protocols Use activity-based, inquiry-based, and experiential teaching methods Integrate ICT tools and digital resources in classroom teaching Assess and evaluate student performance using formative and summative assessments Maintain academic records, lesson plans, and student portfolios Support students in projects, assignments, and internal assessments Participate in CBSE trainings, school meetings, examinations, and co-curricular activities Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and development
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Science (B.Sc.) with

B.Ed.

(mandatory as per CBSE norms) Sound knowledge of CBSE and NCERT curriculum
Experience

Minimum

2-5 years

of teaching experience in a

CBSE school

preferred Freshers with strong subject knowledge and teaching aptitude may also apply
