Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Responsibilities

Teach Science effectively to Classes VI-X as per

CBSE curriculum and NCERT guidelines

. Prepare and implement

lesson plans, teaching aids, worksheets, and assessments

. Conduct

laboratory experiments and practical demonstrations

ensuring safety norms. Encourage

inquiry-based learning, critical thinking, and scientific temperament

. Integrate

ICT tools, smart boards, and digital resources

in teaching. Regularly assess students' progress and maintain

academic records

.

Examination & Evaluation

Prepare question papers, conduct tests, evaluate answer scripts, and provide feedback. Support students in

internal assessments, practical exams, and board exam preparation

. Maintain proper documentation as per

CBSE examination bye-laws

.

Student Development

Identify learning gaps and conduct

remedial and enrichment classes

. Mentor students for

science exhibitions, olympiads, projects, and competitions

. Promote discipline, ethical behaviour, and scientific curiosity.

Administrative & Co-curricular Duties

Maintain

laboratory records, stock registers, and safety protocols

. Participate in

school activities, assemblies, events, and sports duties

as assigned. Attend

parent-teacher meetings (PTMs)

and communicate student progress effectively. Perform duties assigned by the

Principal/Management

from time to time.
