Nehru World School is looking for educators who are committed to achieve the highest standards and best practices across all aspects of the school and promote a forward-thinking, innovative, and holistic approach to the personal development of students.

Accountable for students' progress by being aware of their capabilities and planning the teaching to build on these. Demonstrate good subject knowledge of the relevant subject(s) and curriculum areas. Foster and maintain students' interest in the subject, and address doubts. Encourage students to take a responsible attitude to their own work and study. Promote high standards of literacy, articulacy, and the correct use of standard English. Promote a love of learning and encourage children's intellectual curiosity. Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social, and emotional development of students. Set homework and plan other out-of-class activities to consolidate and extend the knowledge and understanding students have acquired. Make use of formative and summative assessments to secure students' progress. Give students regular feedback, both orally and through accurate marking, and encourage students to respond to the feedback. Work with parents in the best interests of enabling students to fulfil their potential. Promote good and courteous behaviour both in classrooms and around the School in accordance with the School's Code of Conduct. Uphold public trust in the profession and maintain high standards of ethics and behaviour, within and outside School. Carry out professional duties as may be required by the Director, Head Teacher or the Wing Head.

Skill Set

Treats students with dignity, builds relationships rooted in mutual respect, and always observes proper boundaries appropriate to a teacher's professional position. Knows how to use ICT to support their teaching and wider professional activities. Able to form positive and productive relationships with students, colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders. An excellent record of punctuality and attendance. Good interpersonal skills and ability to empathise. Motivate self and others and effectively collaborate with team members. Has emotional resilience and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

B.Ed. A degree in

PHYSICS.

Evidence of recent and relevant continuing professional development

Professional Experience

Minimum of 5 years' teaching experience with learners in Senior and Secondary Years. Successful experience of teaching

PHYSICS.

Experience of virtual teaching and knowledge of blended learning. Experience of being a class teacher.
