We are seeking a dedicated and passionate TGT Maths teacher to join our educational team. Duties
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the diverse needs of students.
Teach mathematics concepts effectively, ensuring clarity and understanding among students.
Utilise behaviour management techniques to maintain an orderly classroom environment conducive to learning.
Provide one-on-one tutoring and mentoring to support students who may require additional assistance.
Assess student progress through regular testing and assignments, providing constructive feedback.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and share best practices.
Engage in scientific research related to educational methodologies in mathematics education.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and practices.
Requirements
A degree in Mathematics or a related field; additional qualifications in Biochemistry or Laboratory experience are advantageous.
Proven experience in teaching or tutoring mathematics at the relevant educational level.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively.
Experience in behaviour management strategies within an educational setting.
Familiarity with special education needs and the ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly.
