Job Description

A TGT Maths teacher in a CBSE school is responsible for designing and delivering math lessons aligned with the curriculum, creating a positive learning environment, assessing student progress, and encouraging critical thinking. Key duties include creating engaging lesson plans, using diverse teaching methods, providing feedback, collaborating with colleagues, and communicating with parents about student performance. Key responsibilities

Curriculum and lesson planning:

Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) curriculum, ensuring students understand mathematical concepts.

Instruction and teaching methods:

Deliver engaging lessons using a variety of teaching aids and technology to cater to different learning styles. This includes fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Assessment and feedback:

Regularly assess student performance through tests and assignments, and provide constructive feedback to help students improve.

Classroom management:

Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment. This includes managing student behavior and ensuring the classroom is organized.

Parent and colleague collaboration:

Communicate with parents regarding student progress and areas for improvement. Collaborate with other educators on interdisciplinary projects and professional development.

Extracurricular and school activities:

Participate in and supervise school activities like excursions, sports, and other events.

Professional development:

Participate in training to stay updated on the latest teaching methodologies and educational technologies
