Role Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced
TGT Mathematics Teacher to join our academic team at Gian Jyoti Global School
in
Mohali
. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching, well-versed with the CBSE curriculum, and capable of creating a stimulating learning environment that fosters academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons for middle and secondary school (grades 5-10).
Develop lesson plans in line with the CBSE curriculum and academic goals of the school.
Conduct assessments and maintain student records under school guidelines.
Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills through innovative teaching strategies.
Collaborate with fellow teachers, coordinators, and school management to promote a cohesive learning environment.
Prepare students for internal assessments and external exams, including Olympiads or CBSE board evaluations.
Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and training programs.
Use technology tools (smartboards, educational apps) to enhance learning outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics
B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education)
- Mandatory.
CTET Paper II
- Qualified (as per CBSE norms).
Minimum
5 years of teaching experience
in Mathematics, preferably in a CBSE school.
Proficient in using digital tools for classroom instruction and student engagement.
Preferred Skills:
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Ability to motivate and engage students of varying learning levels.
Familiarity with assessment techniques and modern pedagogical methods.
