Holy Hearts Academy is seeking an experienced and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and a proven track record of teaching. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons that meet the educational needs of our students, fostering a love for mathematics, and preparing students for academic success.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality mathematics lessons to students in primary classes (grades 5-8). Develop and implement lesson plans that engage students and promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Assess and evaluate student progress through tests, assignments, and examinations, providing timely and constructive feedback. Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance. Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration. Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental meetings, curriculum planning, and professional development activities. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns. Stay updated with the latest developments in mathematics education and incorporate innovative teaching practices.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field (Master's degree preferred). A recognised teaching qualification (B.Ed. or equivalent) is preferred. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using technology and digital tools for assessment. Passion for teaching and a genuine interest in the academic and personal growth of students. Ability to commute or to relocate to the job location is required.

Pay Range:

10,000 to 15,000.00 (per month)
