Job Title:

Middle School Mathematics Teacher (Grades 6-8)

Sanskriti School, Bhukum, Pune

Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and innovative Mathematics Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction to students of grades 6 to 8 in alignment with CBSE curriculum standards. The ideal candidate should have a passion for teaching mathematics and fostering analytical and critical thinking skills among students.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and age-appropriate mathematics lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum for grades 6 to 8. Develop lesson plans, teaching aids, and assessments in accordance with curriculum objectives. Use a variety of instructional strategies and technology tools to address diverse student needs and learning styles. Regularly assess student progress through tests, assignments, projects, and class participation. Provide timely feedback to students and parents through reports and meetings. Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support as needed. Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment that fosters student confidence and participation. Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and school activities. Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance. Participate in staff meetings, professional development programs, parent-teacher meetings, and school events. Stay updated with developments in the subject area, teaching resources, and pedagogy.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field. B.Ed. (mandatory as per CBSE norms). Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school, preferably at the middle school level. Familiarity with experiential learning, activity-based teaching, and technology integration in classrooms.

Skills Required:

Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics for middle school levels. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Classroom management and student engagement capabilities. Digital literacy and proficiency in using tools like Google Classroom, MS Teams, Smart Boards, etc. Passion for continuous learning and student development.

Preferred Attributes:

Creative and innovative teaching approach. Ability to mentor and guide students in mathematics competitions and olympiads. Team player with a collaborative mindset.

Commensurate with qualifications and experience
