Position Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled

Hindi Teacher

to teach

Grades 4 to 7

. The candidate must be proficient in the subject and capable of delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons. As a residential school, the role includes participation in academic support beyond school hours and taking part in school life and student development outside the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Hindi language and literature to students in Grades 4 to 7 as per the CBSE curriculum. Develop lesson plans, activities, and assessments that support language acquisition and grammar understanding. Foster reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills in Hindi. Encourage appreciation of Hindi literature, poetry, and culture. Provide support during evening study hours (prep time) and offer academic help as needed. Participate in school events, literary activities, and Hindi-related celebrations or competitions. Take on pastoral and residential duties as per the school schedule. Maintain discipline and promote a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Required Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Hindi along with a B.Ed. (mandatory). Minimum 2-3 years of experience teaching Hindi at the middle school level (CBSE). Prior experience in a residential school is an advantage. Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire a love for language and learning in young students.
