We're seeking a qualified and experienced TGT English Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in English literature and language, excellent lesson planning skills, and a passion for education. A CELTA certification is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach English to students of Classes 6-10, following the prescribed curriculum.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons using innovative and interactive teaching methods.
Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate academic records.
Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to enhance student learning outcomes.
Organize and mentor students for debates, literary competitions, and other English-related extracurricular activities.
Incorporate technology and modern pedagogical approaches in classroom teaching.
Collaborate with colleagues to achieve school academic and co-curricular goals.
Qualifications:
Essential:
Bachelor's degree in English (BA English)
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)
Preferred:
Master's degree in English (MA English)
CELTA certification (advantageous)
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of English literature and language.
Excellent lesson planning skills and classroom management.
Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Patience, empathy, and a passion for teaching.
Ability to integrate creative learning methods and organize co-curricular activities.
