The English Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that develop students' reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills. The role involves fostering a positive learning environment and helping students achieve academic success in line with curriculum standards.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver English language and literature lessons
Teach reading comprehension, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and speaking skills
Assess, record, and report on students' progress and performance
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
Develop lesson plans aligned with curriculum requirements
Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to support different learning styles
Assign and grade classwork, homework, and examinations
Provide constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians
Maintain classroom discipline and manage student behavior effectively
