Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in accordance with the school curriculum and academic standards. Teach English grammar, vocabulary, literature, and composition to students across assigned grade levels. Develop creative and interactive teaching strategies to enhance language learning and comprehension. Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, tests, and examinations. Provide constructive feedback to students and support their individual learning needs. Organize and conduct literary activities such as debates, elocutions, reading clubs, and writing competitions. Maintain accurate records of students' academic performance and attendance. Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary projects and curriculum improvements. Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' academic and behavioral progress. Participate actively in school events, meetings, workshops, and professional development programs. Uphold school policies and maintain discipline in the classroom.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in English Literature, English Language, or Education. B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) preferred. Proven experience as an English teacher (minimum 2-3 years preferred). Excellent command of written and spoken English. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve academic excellence. Familiarity with modern teaching methods and educational technology.
