Job Description

A Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) in English is responsible for teaching English language and literature at the secondary level (classes 6-10). This involves designing and delivering lesson plans, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive learning environment. Key responsibilities include: 1. Teaching and Curriculum:

Delivery:

Lecturing, discussions, and activities to enhance understanding of English language and literature.

Planning:

Developing and implementing lesson plans, notes, and study materials, often aligning with the National Education Policy (NEP).

Multimedia:

Utilizing digital tools and resources to improve teaching and learning.

Curriculum:

Adhering to national curriculum guidelines and staying updated with changes.
2. Assessment and Feedback:

Assessment:

Conducting assessments, setting homework, and recording student grades and performance.

Feedback:

Providing constructive feedback to students on their work.

Progress:

Monitoring student progress and identifying areas for improvement.
3. Learning Environment and Student Support:

Positive Environment:

Fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.

Support:

Providing guidance and support to students, including addressing their queries and addressing any concerns.

Motivation:
