Job Summary:

The TGT English Teacher is responsible for teaching English language and literature to middle and secondary school students (Classes VI-X). The role involves delivering engaging lessons, developing language skills, evaluating student progress, and contributing to the overall academic and holistic development of students.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver effective English lessons in accordance with the prescribed curriculum (CBSE / ICSE / State Board, as applicable). Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing skills, and literature. Develop lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching aids to support learning outcomes. Assess, record, and report on students' academic performance through tests, assignments, and examinations. Provide constructive feedback to students to improve language proficiency. Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication skills. Maintain discipline and create a positive, inclusive classroom environment. Participate in curriculum planning, academic meetings, and teacher training programs. Prepare students for internal assessments, board examinations, and competitions. Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' progress and concerns. Perform additional duties such as class teacher responsibilities, invigilation, and school activities as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree in English / Literature B.Ed. (Mandatory)

Experience:

Minimum 1-3 years of teaching experience preferred (Freshers with strong subject knowledge may be considered)
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
