An

English Teacher

is responsible for developing students' reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in the English language while fostering critical thinking and a love for literature.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging

English lessons

aligned with the curriculum Teach

grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, writing, and literature

Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching materials Assess students through

tests, assignments, projects, and oral work

Evaluate and provide constructive feedback on students' performance Improve students'

communication and language proficiency

Encourage reading habits and creative writing Manage classroom discipline and maintain a positive learning environment Identify learning difficulties and provide extra support when needed Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods in lessons

Administrative & Professional Duties

Maintain student records, attendance, and assessment reports Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and workshops Communicate with parents regarding students' progress Assist in examination duties and school activities Follow school policies and educational guidelines

Skills & Competencies

Strong command of

English language and literature

Educational Qualifications (Typical)

Bachelor's degree in

English

B.Ed. or teaching certification

(for school teaching) CTET / State TET (for government schools, where applicable)
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
