Role Overview

The TGT English Teacher will be responsible for teaching English Language and Literature to students of middle and secondary classes. The role involves creating engaging lesson plans, improving students' reading, writing, and speaking skills, and ensuring strong academic performance.

Key Responsibilities

Teach English grammar, literature, writing skills, and communication to classes as per curriculum. Prepare lesson plans, classroom activities, and assignments aligned with CBSE guidelines. Conduct regular assessments, evaluate student progress, and provide constructive feedback. Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment. Use creative teaching methods, audio-visual aids, and interactive sessions to enhance learning. Prepare students for exams, competitions, debates, and literary activities. Maintain student records, attendance, and academic performance. Collaborate with other teachers and participate in staff meetings, trainings, and school events. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and concerns.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in English or related field (B.A. / M.A. English). B.Ed. is

mandatory

. 3-4 years of teaching experience as a TGT English (preferably in CBSE schools). Strong command of English language, grammar, and literature. Excellent communication, classroom management, and presentation skills. Ability to use smart-class tools, digital teaching platforms, and innovative methods.
