Job Title: (TGT) - English

Classes: VI to X (CBSE Curriculum)

Job Summary:

The TGT English teacher will be responsible for teaching English Language and Literature to students of Classes VI to X as per CBSE and NCERT guidelines. The teacher should foster reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills while maintaining a positive and disciplined classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach English Language and Literature for Classes VI-X following CBSE syllabus.

Plan and deliver engaging, student-centric lessons

Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments

Develop students' reading, writing, grammar, and communication skills

Conduct periodic tests, evaluate answer sheets, and maintain academic records

Encourage participation in debates, recitations, creative writing, and literary activities

Provide remedial support and enrichment activities as required

Maintain classroom discipline and a supportive learning environment

Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress

Participate in school meetings, trainings, and co-curricular activities

Follow school policies and CBSE academic guidelines strictly

Required Qualifications:

Graduate/Post-Graduate in English

B.Ed. from a recognized university

Skills & Competencies:

Excellent command over English (spoken and written)

Strong classroom management skills

Ability to explain concepts clearly and creatively

Familiarity with CBSE assessment patterns and exam preparation

Proficient in using smart boards, ICT tools, and digital teaching resources

Student-friendly, patient, and committed to academic excellence

Experience:

Minimum 1-3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school (freshers with strong subject knowledge may apply)
