The TGT - Computer Science teacher will be responsible for teaching computer science concepts and applications to students from Classes VI to X as per the CBSE curriculum. The role involves fostering digital literacy, problem-solving skills, and responsible use of technology among students through engaging lessons and hands-on activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in line with CBSE syllabus and school guidelines.
Teach computer fundamentals, programming languages (such as Python, Scratch, HTML, etc.), and digital applications.
Integrate technology effectively into classroom teaching to enhance learning outcomes.
Maintain students' records including attendance, assessments, and progress reports.
Prepare students for internal and board examinations by conducting tests, projects, and practical sessions.
Promote awareness on cyber safety, digital citizenship, and ethical use of technology.
Participate in school events, computer exhibitions, IT fairs, and inter-school competitions.
Collaborate with other faculty members to support cross-curricular integration of technology.
Maintain and ensure proper functioning of computer lab equipment and software.
Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development workshops.
Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or BCA from a recognized university.
B.Ed.
Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school (preferred).
Strong knowledge of CBSE curriculum and digital education tools.
Key Skills:

Ability to engage students through interactive and practical teaching methods.
