Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Computer/IT Teacher to deliver engaging and practical computer science education to students of Classes 6 to 10, following the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, up-to-date technical skills, and a commitment to fostering digital literacy and 21st-century skills in students.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Delivery:

Teach Computer Science/IT as per CBSE syllabus for Classes 6-10. Design and deliver lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Integrate both theory and practical sessions to enhance conceptual understanding.

Classroom Management:

Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment in the classroom and computer lab. Foster curiosity, creativity, and independent thinking in students.

Assessment & Evaluation:

Conduct formative and summative assessments. Maintain records of students' progress and provide feedback to students and parents.

Technology Integration:

Use modern teaching aids and digital tools (e.g., Smart Boards, Google Classroom, MS Teams). Encourage students to apply technology in project work and real-life scenarios.

Extracurricular Engagement:

Organize coding clubs, IT fairs, and competitions. Mentor students for inter-school technology and coding competitions.

Professional Development:

Stay updated with the latest CBSE guidelines and IT education trends. Attend workshops, seminars, and training sessions as required.

Qualifications & Experience:

Educational Qualifications:

B.Sc./B.Tech/BCA/MCA/M.Sc. in Computer Science or IT. B.Ed. (preferred or as per CBSE norms).

Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience at the middle or secondary level in a CBSE-affiliated school. Freshers with strong technical and communication skills may also apply.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in programming languages taught in school (e.g., Python, HTML/CSS, Scratch, JavaScript). Hands-on experience with MS Office, Google Workspace, and basic hardware/software troubleshooting.

Key Competencies:

Strong command over subject matter. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to simplify complex concepts for school students. Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm in teaching. Adaptability to digital tools and hybrid teaching environments.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
