Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic, skilled, and enthusiastic

Computer Science Teacher

to teach students of

Grades 1 to 8

in accordance with the

CBSE curriculum .

The ideal candidate will integrate digital literacy, coding, and responsible technology use into classroom teaching and foster a love for computers in young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

1.

Curriculum Delivery:

Teach computer science concepts to Grades 1-8 as per CBSE and school-specific syllabus. Introduce students to

basic operations, MS Office, Internet safety, coding (Scratch, HTML, Python basics)

, and ICT tools. Ensure integration of ICT in project-based learning and subject enrichment activities.
2.

Lesson Planning & Instruction:

Design age-appropriate and interactive lesson plans using audio-visual and simulation tools. Conduct theory and hands-on lab sessions. Create worksheets, assignments, and digital projects tailored to grade-level skills.
3.

Assessment & Record Maintenance:

Evaluate student performance through practical tests, assignments, and projects. Maintain records of student work, computer lab usage, and equipment inventory.
4.

Digital Citizenship & Safety:

Educate students about

cyber safety, digital etiquette, plagiarism, and online responsibility

. Monitor responsible and ethical use of technology in the lab environment.
5.

Technical Support & Collaboration:

Assist school administration with the maintenance and basic troubleshooting of computer lab systems. Collaborate with other teachers for ICT integration across subjects.
6.

Event & Activity Coordination:

Organize IT-related activities like

coding clubs, tech fairs, poster-making, and quizzes

. Prepare students for

inter-school IT competitions and Olympiads

.

Qualifications & Experience:

Educational Qualification:

BCA / B.Sc. in Computer Science / B.Tech (CS/IT) / MCA / M.Sc. (Computer Science) B.Ed. preferred for teaching Grades 6-8 (mandatory in many CBSE schools)

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a CBSE or ICSE school (preferred) Fresher candidates with excellent tech and communication skills may apply for primary levels

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of

Windows, MS Office, Internet applications, HTML, Scratch, Python (basic), typing skills

Proficiency in using

educational technology platforms

(Google Workspace, coding apps, LMS tools) Good communication and class management skills Passion for digital education and continuous upskilling
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?22,000.00 per month
