We are looking for a skilled and passionate TGT Computer Science Teacher to teach students in middle school (Classes 6-10). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science concepts and the ability to deliver engaging lessons that foster students' interest in technology and programming. The teacher will be responsible for covering topics like programming languages, algorithms, computer systems, and digital literacy.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver lessons on various computer science topics, including programming languages (such as Python, Java, HTML), algorithms, computer systems, and basic software development.
Teach students about the safe and ethical use of technology and the internet.
Use a variety of teaching methods to engage students in learning, including hands-on activities, group work, and project-based learning.
Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards.
Assess students' progress through assignments, projects, and exams, providing constructive feedback to help them improve.
Encourage students to participate in technology-based competitions, coding challenges, and other extracurricular activities.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate technology into other subjects and promote digital literacy.
Maintain the computer lab and ensure all equipment and software are functioning properly.
Stay updated with the latest developments in computer science and integrate modern technologies into the classroom.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
Proven experience teaching computer science at the secondary school level (Classes 6-10).
Strong knowledge of programming languages, software applications, and IT systems.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Ability to create engaging lesson plans that accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
Preferred Skills:
Experience teaching coding, programming, and other IT-related subjects.
Proficiency in using educational technology and online learning platforms.
Ability to inspire students and make complex concepts easy to understand.
