Gateway International School is seeking a passionate and experienced TGT Biology teacher

for our Campus. The ideal candidate will have in-depth subject knowledge, excellent

teaching skills, and the ability to inspire students to develop a keen interest in biological

sciences.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Delivery & Curriculum Planning

? Plan and deliver engaging lessons as per the CBSE curriculum.

? Teach core biological concepts with real-life applications and hands-on learning

experiences.

? Prepare students for board examinations with structured lesson plans and assessments.

? Utilize technology and modern teaching methodologies to enhance learning.

Student Development & Assessment

? Conduct practical sessions, lab experiments, and field studies to reinforce learning.

? Evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and interactive assessments.

? Provide personalized academic support to students to improve their understanding.

? Encourage critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and problem-solving skills.

Classroom & Lab Management

? Ensure a disciplined and interactive classroom environment.

? Maintain lab safety and ensure proper handling of biological specimens and

equipment.

? Keep up-to-date with advancements in biological sciences and incorporate them into

lessons.

Collaboration & Professional Development

? Coordinate with faculty members for interdisciplinary learning approaches.

? Participate in professional development programs, workshops, and faculty meetings.

? Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and concerns.

Skills and Qualifications

? Educational Background: Master's degree in Biology/Life Sciences with B.Ed.

(Mandatory).

? Experience: Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the TGT level (CBSE

preferred).

? Subject Expertise: Strong conceptual understanding of Biology and its applications.

? Technological Skills: Ability to use smart classroom tools and digital learning

platforms.

? Communication & Leadership: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

? Student Engagement: Ability to mentor and inspire students toward academic
