Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in BIology (with at least 50% marks)
B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) from a recognized institution
CTET or State TET qualification (as per school board requirements)
Prior teaching experience at secondary level preferred
Responsibilities
Teach biology to students in grades 6-10 following the prescribed syllabus
Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments
Conduct experiments and demonstrations to enhance conceptual understanding
Evaluate student progress through tests, assignments, and projects
Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment in the classroom
Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and academic planning
Stay updated with developments in science education and pedagogy
Skills & Competencies
Strong command of BIology concepts and their real-world applications
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Ability to integrate technology and multimedia tools in teaching
Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for working with adolescents

Full-time, typically Monday to Saturday
