Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) in Biology to teach middle and secondary school students (Classes 6 to 10). The ideal candidate should have a strong command of Biology concepts, effective teaching strategies, and the ability to engage students through interactive and concept-based learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Biology for Classes 6 to 10 as per the CBSE curriculum. Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and assessments in line with the academic calendar. Use innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student understanding. Conduct practicals and guide students in laboratory work. Track student progress and maintain academic records. Provide regular feedback to students and parents through PTMs. Prepare students for periodic tests, term exams, Olympiads, and other competitions. Encourage curiosity and scientific thinking among students. Collaborate with other subject teachers and participate in school events. Maintain discipline and ensure a safe, positive learning environment. Attend staff meetings, training programs, and workshops.

Qualification & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Zoology/Botany with B.Ed. (mandatory). Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in CBSE/ICSE/State board schools. Proficiency in English communication. Knowledge of digital teaching tools (smart board, presentations, online assessments).

Skills Required:

Strong subject knowledge and concept clarity. Excellent communication and classroom management. Ability to engage and inspire adolescents. Tech-savvy with familiarity in online teaching platforms. Passion for teaching and mentoring.
