Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable

TGT Biology Teacher

to teach Grades 6 to 10 under the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, sound laboratory skills, and the ability to make Biology concepts engaging, relatable, and easy to understand for middle and secondary school students.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver structured Biology lessons for Grades 6-10 in accordance with the CBSE curriculum. Teach core topics including Cell Structure, Tissues, Life Processes, Control and Coordination, Reproduction, Heredity and Evolution, Environment, and Natural Resources. Develop students' conceptual understanding through diagrams, models, experiments, and real-life examples. Prepare students for internal assessments and the Grade 10 CBSE board examination, as applicable. Design and evaluate worksheets, assignments, projects, and practical-based activities. Conduct and supervise laboratory sessions while ensuring safety and hygiene protocols. Maintain lesson plans, student progress records, and academic documentation. Collaborate with faculty members for interdisciplinary academic planning and initiatives. Participate actively in school events, science exhibitions, and co-curricular activities.
Qualifications and SkillsEducation

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Biology / Life Sciences with B.Ed (mandatory).
Experience

Minimum

2-4 years

of teaching experience in Grades 6-10 at a CBSE or equivalent institution.
Skills

Strong command over Biology fundamentals and conceptual clarity. Ability to explain concepts using diagrams, models, and real-life analogies. Proficiency in handling laboratory equipment and maintaining lab records. Familiarity with CBSE assessment patterns and Grade 10 board preparation. Basic proficiency with digital tools and smart classroom technologies.
Accommodation & Facilities

Free meals provided on campus for relocated staff. Accommodation to be arranged independently outside the campus; an accommodation allowance is included in the salary. School support available for identifying nearby housing; shared accommodation is permitted. Transportation provided from a common pickup point to the campus during school hours.
