Key Responsibilities

1. Plan and deliver subject-specific and interdisciplinary lessons aligned with the school curriculum and learning objectives for middle and secondary classes.

2. Design engaging and age-appropriate teaching materials, ensuring varied instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.

3. Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation, critical thinking, and discipline.

4. Assess student learning and academic progress through classwork, homework, projects, quizzes, and examinations; maintain accurate and updated records.

5. Provide constructive feedback to students and support them in improving their academic performance.

6. Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to discuss student progress, behaviour, and any required interventions.

7. Use technology and digital tools to enhance teaching, learning, and classroom management.

8. Identify and support diverse learners, including students with academic challenges or exceptional abilities.

9. Participate actively in school events, assemblies, co-curricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development programmes.

10. Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons, develop assessments, and improve overall teaching practices.

11. Uphold school policies, ethical standards, and administrative requirements, including attendance, discipline, and reporting
