Your key responsibilities
Lead automation projects, providing comprehensive requirements, including drafting JIRA tickets, and performing rigorous quality testing to ensure project standards are met.
Conduct comprehensive data analysis using statistical techniques and data visualization tools to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights within complex datasets.
Develop low code solutions using Excel, MS Access, Python, Microsoft Power Apps, and Artificial intelligence tools.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans that outline key deliverables, milestones, and timelines to ensure successful project execution.
Manage and provide comprehensive support for multiple automation initiatives implemented throughout Trade Finance and the Bank.
Identification and assessment of Automation opportunities.
Define, measure and analyse current state processes to determine areas for simplification, standardization and/or automation
Facilitate workshops focused on elimination of waste and reduction of manual processes across end-to-end operations and technology processes
Design target solutions, execution roadmaps and gain concurrence / approval amongst stakeholders including operations, technology, business, and product management teams
Partner with Technology analysts to support development that achieves desired business outcomes.
To play key role in ensuring the function is successfully delivering against objectives, milestones and targets.
The role will face off directly with Branch Ops, RTM teams, Tech Leads and senior stakeholders and requires demonstrable stakeholder management experience.
The ability to work in geographically diverse environments.

Your skills and experience
Experience in performing data Analysis including utilizing statistical techniques and data visualization tools to uncover patterns, trends, and insights from complex datasets.
Proficiency in software such as Excel, MSAccess, Python, Microsoft power Apps and AI solutions
Demonstrated expertise in analyzing results to support strategic decision-making and effectively communicating insights via concise, well-structured reports and presentations to senior stakeholders.
Preparation of a detailed project planner that includes all relevant milestones outlining key deliverables and timelines.
Possesses a strong foundation in developing and automating processes, streamlining repetitive tasks, and optimizing processes for maximum efficiency.
Experience in handling automation projects, Writing JIRAs, providing detailed requirements and performing quality testing.
Strong knowledge of trade finance products and trade finance guidelines on ICC/UCP/ISBP/URC/URDG/URR/ISP
Extensive experience in transaction processing for export letters of credit advising, bill booking and settlement, LC issuance, bank-to-bank reimbursement procedures, export and import collection processes, document scrutiny, and bank guarantee transaction management.
Proficient in handling all trade finance swift message type example MT7XX, MT4XX, MT202, MT103, Cover payment etc.,
Holding a professional certification in trade finance (such as CDCS, CSDG, or CITF) may be considered beneficial.
Knowledge of legal, credit, and operational risks related to trade products and services.
Experience with trade finance systems, process automations and handling trade finance projects is preferred.
Demonstrated experience in leadership and team management.
Proficient in oral and written communication as well as interpersonal interactions.
