Role Summary
We are looking for a Textile Production & Merchandising Executive with strong handloom weaving knowledge to
support sourcing, production, and merchandising of handloom sarees.
The role primarily focuses on vendor identification, production coordination, and quality control. When travel is not
required, the candidate will also support design development and sampling from the studio.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and onboard authentic weaving units in Kanchipuram, Arani (Aarni), and Dharmavaram
Coordinate handloom saree production and manage timelines
Ensure weaving quality, authenticity, and cluster-correct practices
Support sampling and execution based on approved designs
Assist with design and technical inputs during non-travel periods
Manage costing, SKU tracking, and production follow-ups
Maintain vendor and production documentation
Required Skills & Experience
Degree/Diploma in Textiles / Textile Design / Apparel Merchandising
3-7 years experience in handloom saree production or merchandising
Strong knowledge of Indian handloom weaving, especially Kanchipuram silk
Ability to evaluate weaving quality and production feasibility
Good coordination and follow-up skills
Good to Have
Experience with Kanchi, Arani, or Dharmavaram clusters
Knowledge of zari, silk yarns, and dyeing processes
Exposure to export or overseas production
