Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented

Textile Merchandiser

to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing the end-to-end merchandising process -- from fabric sourcing and vendor coordination to quality checks and timely delivery. This role requires strong communication skills, a good eye for fabric quality, and a proactive approach to ensure smooth operations between suppliers, vendors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and manufacturers for fabric sourcing and order follow-ups. Inspect and ensure fabric quality as per company and buyer standards. Assist in sample development and approvals. Maintain records of fabric orders, deliveries, and quality reports. Support the production and buying teams with timely updates on order status. Negotiate with vendors for cost, lead time, and quality improvements. Monitor inventory levels and assist in material planning. Handle documentation related to sourcing, quality control, and shipment. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure deadlines are met.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in

Textile Engineering, Fashion Technology, or a related field

. 0-2 years of experience in textile merchandising or a similar role. Basic knowledge of

fabrics, dyeing, printing, and finishing processes

. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
