Core Responsibilities

Design Development:

Create original prints, weaves, and patterns using CAD software.

Material Research:

Select appropriate yarns, dyes, and sustainable fibers (special focus on jute and natural blends).

Production Liaison:

Prepare technical "tech packs" for manufacturers to ensure design accuracy.

Trend Analysis:

Translate global interior/fashion trends into commercially viable designs.

Sampling:

Oversee the development of prototypes and strike-offs.

Must-Haves

Software:

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator) and specialized textile CAD (e.g., NedGraphics or TexPro).

Technical Knowledge:

Deep understanding of weaving, printing (digital/screen), and dyeing processes.

Experience:

3-5 years in textile design, preferably in [Home Textile / Exports].

Portfolio:

Strong visual portfolio demonstrating color theory and pattern repeats.
